----Wireless Internet Tech---
We are currently accepting applications for a
Wireless Internet Technition. This is a part time
position located at our 600 SE 49th St office in Pryor.
We are looking for a highly motivated person,
with good troubleshooting and installation skills. This
person will go to our customer's facilities and install High
Speed Wireless Internet. This person will also troubleshoot
connectivity problems and assist in repair and maintaining
Upperspace High Speed Wireless backbone and towers. This
person will be in customer's homes and talk to our customers
face to face frequently. Good
communication skills and a
friendly personality is a MUST! Work hours are very flexibly
as this is a part time position. We would consider hiring
you as a contractor or part-time employee. Potential for full time and advancement.
Job duties would include Installing
Upperspace high speed wireless Internet in customer's
faclilites. This includes mounting of unit on house, running
Cat5 network wire into house, terminating Cat5 ends,
configuring customer's computer to use service. This person
will handle service calls and be responsible for
troubleshooting and repairing customer's Internet
connection. Other potential duties include helping expand
and maintain Upperspace's Microwave towers.
This job requires working outdoors in all
weather condtions. Must be pysically fit and able to climb
latters, get on roofs and run cable safely. A good working knowledge of computers is a
real plus. Having Internet skills, such as knowing how
to configure e-mail, us a web browser, configure IP
settings, and general networking knowledge will be required. Training in
industry specific troubleshooting and procedures will be
provided. A company service vehicle will be provided. A
current/valid drivers license is required.
